Mr. Raymond Paquet
President
Why I am passionate:
Most people think that presidents love their profession.
While that may be true, but for me and I am sure it is much more than that. What I do on a daily basis is much more rewarding and important for the company.
The general perception is that we are serious and boring.
Personally, I think these connotations can be attached more to an individual than to a profession in general.
However, as president, I can say more often than not, we are quite the opposite. Here are some reasons why I love my job and I choose to do it:
- 1) Problem solving - My job allows me to always be on the front line to solve business problems.
- 2) Whether it's investing to turn losses into profits for a particular transaction,
- 3) There is always something to resolve or respond to. This makes the work interesting and diverse.
- 4) I am definitely able to use my problem solving techniques and implement solutions that achieve the desired results.
- 5) Most importantly, these skills are particularly valuable for today's businesses.
2) Participate in strategic decision making and make strategic recommendations -
Depending on your level within the organization, you may have the unique opportunity to participate in strategic decision making.
A) This is extremely essential in the area of international funding to help shape and decide on the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
B) As well as making the necessary recommendations, such as growth and expansion or restructuring is completed in a state of the art.
3) Collaboration with different departments - Because the profession is the central unit where all the information is accumulated, analyzed and disseminated,
1) There must be collaboration between the different departments within the company. This allows people to work together, brainstorm new ideas and solve problems if there is a problem.
2) It also allows you to learn and understand strategic operations and how they work. You become well-balanced and have an understanding of how a special program works, so people can make the right decisions.
4) Analyze the proposals received by the platforms in order to guide decision-making.
This is one of the most important aspects. The performance submitted to the company is to inform the managers of the business unit of the financial performance so that the company can identify historical trends, understand market conditions and competitiveness and make projections for the future.
6) Improvement of advanced processes
a) There is a continuous need for process improvement within any organization.
b) Businesses are so dynamic and we also have to be too reactive to changes that occur.
c) There must be changes in the processes as the strategic objectives change and to support the trust company are an integral part of these improvements.
d) Not only the introduction of a new program, but also the acquisition of a new banner in order to achieve the company's objectives.
I consider myself not only as a president and CEO but as a business partner who has an equal interest in whether the business is successful or not.
The one who provides and interprets financial data and their impact on the business.
I also consider myself an educator who transmits knowledge on financial information to senior management.
